Diary of a Mother who's Child wants to be a Writer - Part 2: Ghost Writing

Read Part 1 here

So, the question at hand was "should i remove the obstcles ( which currently is about the ability to write as fast as u think)  from the childs life or she may figure out her way herself.

So, I googled!!!

And came across a word called Ghost writing. To be honest, till this time I was unaware of what exactly 'ghost-writing' meant.

Ghost-writing means that one can employ a ghost writer for a concept that u would like to get converted into a book. You hire one may be due to lack of time or not enough knowledge about how to go about it. However the Concept is yours.

Whoaaa!! So people could hire a Ghost writer. So i thought that even my little writer could. and I will be her ghost writer.

So i offered my services.

I was scolded several times for Bad Handwriting saying "The publisher would not be able to read it !!"

The other questions that she also had was -
Would the publisher take away my diary?
Will they return it?
Would they understand that each story has to be one page each?

Which i patiently answered!

The good part was we have started. And well begun is half done.

Just like any writer, several corrections were made. Corrections in the drafting of the sentences. Corrections in the title and many more. She was dictating the sentences and i would just write like a good stenographer. The first story is complete. And it appears to be inspired by the Panchtantra and Enid Blyton.

What a blend!! I must say …

And Now i am eagerly waiting for the second session eagerly. I hope i happens soon enough!
